How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
I write in both contemporary romance and paranormal/supernatural young adult genres, but I think writing across both is the same: any genre needs compelling characters motivated by strong, believable conflict. And hot, sexy heroes never hurt!
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
Read widely in the genre you’re interested in writing.
Then write, write and write some more. Writing is the way to discover your voice, your niche and help refine your style.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Last year, a friend of mine got married. Her theme? A burlesque wedding! That was enough to spark a flurry of story ideas for me and BRASH was born.
The glamorous world of burlesque intrigued me and I had a ball researching some gorgeous pictures online and interviewing my friend.
