What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
A road trip through the Teton Mountains in 2011 is to blame. My husband, son, and I crossed the Idaho border into Wyoming and I was transfixed. My dad had always loved horses and I was brought up in that life. I've shoveledd A LOT of manure over the years! Lol. But cowboy Jack Cade was like a living entity inside my head for years, and one day, I just sat down in front of my laptop, and out he came.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I truly have no idea. They're just there. And when I write one, others come to life.
Author Bio:
Greta Rose West was a floundering artsy flake until Jack showed up, knocking on the door of her brain, and then pounding on it, and then he just plain kicked it down. She's a boy mom to a grown freakin' man, and she lives in NW Indiana with her husband and her two precocious kitties, Geoff Trouble and Sally Mae Midnight. When she’s not writing, she’s reading and devouring music. She enjoys indie films no one else likes, and her favorite food is Aver’s Veggie Revival pizza.
