How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
Men and women I have looked up to through out the years.
After what seemed like forever, she could not take it anymore. Grabbing at the reins to try to pull the horse to a stop, she screamed, “Uncle Simon, stop this horse at once! You are so drunk you can't see, and this can’t possibly be the way.” She pulled against his tight grip. “There’s a dangerous ravine on the right. Stop this horse, I say! Give me the reins now!” Allison pulled on the reins, but Simon elbowed her back into the seat. Everything within her wanted to jump off her side of the buggy, but all she could see were rocks. The buggy tilted, and she yelled, “Get away from the edge!” Throwing all her weight against Uncle Simon, she grabbed the reins and pulled to the left. He let go and jerked her up by the neck, shaking her and roaring, “Where is the money! I know she gave it to you!”
Allison tried to fight and twist away from his grip, but Simon pulled at her hair and brought her up to his evil, twisted face. “Give it to me, now!” He bared his yellow teeth and grabbed at her reticule with one hand.
Allison screamed as the horse reared. Uncle Simon pushed against her as he tore at her purse.
With no way to catch her footing, she fell backward. There were seconds of nothing but clawing at the air. A small scrub tree caught her back and arms and tossed her like a feather down into the rocks below.
