Tell us about yourself.
I'm a writer from Canada. I am a mother and a wife. During my early school years, I participated in a variety of sports and activities. I was a five-pin pro bowler in high school. I took home metals and awards for my achievements. I love anime, romance, fantasy, and the paranormal.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
Toronto is where I was born and raised but it did not influence my writing.

What was your journey to getting published like?
Since this was my first time being published, it has been quite the journey. It was exciting once I figured out the stuff I didn't know or believed I knew.

What’s the best piece of feedback you’ve ever received?
A great storyteller and keep on writing.

What advice would you give to aspiring writers?
Don't give up on your writing.

What’s a fun fact about you that your readers might not know?
I used to go the Fan Expo Canada event, which was held at the Toronto Metro Convention Centre, and dress up.

What’s your guilty pleasure book or genre?
Thriller or Paranormal involving ghosts or anything that would scare me. I love scary films.

What’s your favorite quote about writing?
Stephen King once said, "The scariest moment is always just before you start." Given that this was my first major project, this phrase seemed particularly accurate. But at the end, it was rewarding.

When you’re not writing, how do you like to spend your time?
When I'm not writing, I am raising my kids.

Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I can't remember what age. I guess at an early age when I was in elementary school. My favourite place to go was the library. I loved checking out books and reading them. It was mostly fantasy books.

What has inspired you and your writing style?
The dreams I have as I sleep, my imagination and my creativity is what brought my story, "My Fate, My Heart You See." to life. It was based on a dream I had in my early twenties that stayed with me throughout the years.

My dream will also serve as the basis for my upcoming book, which will include other sequences I wrote myself. There will be romance and more spicy scenes.

How do you deal with negative reviews?
Even though it can be difficult to get criticism, I know that not everyone will find my narrative compelling. Everyone has the right to express their thoughts, even if doing so makes me unhappy or put me down, but I don't let that stop me. I push through and keep going.

How do you connect with your readers?
I am at an early stage of my writing career. I hope to engage with them through social media or in person.

What’s next for you as a writer?
I am currently working on my next romance book.

Are there any Easter eggs or hidden messages in your work?
No

How do you approach writing dialogue for your characters?
I envision myself in my character's shoes or how I would address the situation.

If you could share one thing with your fans, what would that be?
"My Fate, My Heart You See" is not like regular romance novels. Usually, the perspective of the woman is presented. However, that's not the case in this novel. You not only follow Nina's journey but Nathan's too. A perfect love story.
