When Keeley Sloan finds herself being pursued by mercenaries for a computer code she created, she has no one to turn to except her best friend’s old army buddy. Joe Manetti owes his fellow Army Ranger his life, several times over, so the least he can do is show up when the woman his buddy considers like a little sister calls for help. It’s probably just caffeine-induced computer nerd paranoia, right? Or is he completely wrong? And neither of their lives will ever be the same…
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
It's hard to find novels that don't pull any punches, both with romance and action adventure. Suspense and thrillers always left me wanting more character development, more than just their bare hint of romance. And romance novels often don't get down and dirty with the action and violence. This book is the sort of novel I want to read: characters caught up in an action-driven plot but whose attraction and relationship are given due attention and development. With just a hint of humor here and there. It's the type of story I enjoy, and I hope you enjoy it, too!
