Some people would say I’m a recluse. Some would say an introvert. And they’re all right. I like to keep to myself and I love being in my own little world. One day, maybe I’ll be a cat lady. No, scratch that, I’m not a cat person. Dogs? Fish? Whatever. Point is, because of my past, I don’t do well with people.
Then one day, in the only place outside of my home that I feel comfortable, my world is turned upside down. In walks a man, in his police uniform, who stops me dead in my tracks. Which, of course, I proceed to stare at him, and he catches me. Awesomesauce.
Think he left me alone? Nope. On his way out, he even said goodbye and get me to notice him one more time. And now the one place I loved and felt safe is tainted. Guess I’ll have to just work at home now.
At least I’ll never have to see him again.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I wanted to write a sweet love story, but still put an important spin on it. Kat's experiences, her social anxiety, most of those past bully stories actually happened to me. I wanted to show how being bullied can affect someone but they can still rise up and grow stronger.
