Vampire Dante Allegretti hates his sucky life. Born into a family of energy siphoners, he’s desperate to reinvent himself as a fun-loving normal guy rather than a crowdsourcing parasite. To stop the draining urges, Dante resorts to grinding alternative meds in an ancient Mortar & Pestle, not knowing it contains magical properties.
Enter wisecracking thirty-year-old Sophie Arley, who lives with her clingy parents. Working three jobs and craving independence, she’s come back strong after a breakdown crashed her cozy world. So when the weird, hot guy she just met-cute asks Sophie to the movies, she agrees.
Sophie won’t spoil their magical connection by mentioning her heartbreak. And Dante dreads telling Sophie about his dark side. Will the power from the Mortar & Pestle guide them to their happily ever after despite the secrets and lies?

Flying Backwards (Second Chance Romance) by Jennifer W. Smith
Would it be exciting to travel to exotic places, meet a man who makes your heart summersault, and become a person you admire? Eleanor (Nora) Clark realizes the key to an interesting life is eluding her. Never leaving the small Pennsylvania town she grew up in, living in a house her fiancé bought his ex-girlfriend, and spending weekends helping in the family business. She realizes life is passing her by as her twenty-ninth birthday looms on the horizon. Why hasn’t she taken any gutsy chances in life?
On a whim, she applies to become a flight attendant. Suddenly, she is jetting off to London, Rome, and St. Petersburg where she finds herself romantically entangled with three very different suitors. Eleanor’s new life exceeds all her wildest dreams.
To find fulfillment, Eleanor must discover success, confidence, friendship, and love. As her daydreams become reality, the choices she makes both build and break her heart. But her last choice decides it all.
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Flying Backwards was inspired from my earlier years as a flight attendant working for US Airways. So my main character is a flight attendant. For me, travel and romance go hand-in-hand. After writing this book, it inspired me to start the Landing in Love series. The general idea of the Landing in Love series is the protagonist is associated in some way with aviation (flight attendants, helicopter pilots, floatplane pilots, etc.) who all find love in various small, New England towns. Each of the Landing in Love stories are stand-alones.
Baked with Love ( A Match Made in Heaven, book 3) by Peggy Jaeger
From the desk of Maureen O’Dowd, Innkeeper
Summer To-Do List:
1. Meet with Architect about adding rooms on to Inn Heaven
2. Replenish Nanny Fee’s scone stash weekly and keep her out of trouble (i.e. out of jail)
3. Decorate Cathy’s wedding cake and host wedding reception at Inn Heaven
4. Don’t let Lucas find out how much you love him and don’t let anyone else know, either
5. Try not to fall even deeper in love with Lucas, esp. when you see him in a tuxedo.
From the Desk of Lucas Alexander, Police Chief
Summer To-Do List:
1. Keep the citizens of Heaven safe.
2. Get Robert a job at Inn Heaven to keep him occupied while he visits (added bonus – you get to see Maureen every day.)
3. Tell Maureen you want to be more than friends and convince her this is a good thing
4. Woo Maureen – she loves lilacs
5. Propose to Maureen – get her family involved and on your side., esp. Nanny Fee
6. Marry Maureen
7. Make her happy every day for the rest of her life
Can these two people with such different goals wind up on the same page at the end of the summer?
Innkeeper Maureen O’Dowd has two secrets she’s determined to keep. One involves keeping the man she’s been in love with for years from knowing how she feels about him. The other is a promise she made to her family that she never kept and if it’s revealed, she’s terrified the people she loves the most will be hurt beyond repair.
Police Chief Lucas Alexander wants more than the casual friendship he has with Maureen and he’s determined to show her just how good they can be together. Wearing down her defenses will be hard work, but he’s up to the challenge.
The one thing that could prevent them from a future together is the revelation of the one secret she hopes never to share. Will it drive a wedge between them that can never be repaired?
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
This is the third installment in my Match Made in Heaven romance series and it involves youngest O'Dowd sister, Maureen. Maureen is a twin. Unfortunately, her twin died from a rear form of breast cancer 3 years ago. I've always wanted to write a story about twins because, as an only child, I wondered what it would be like to share everything – including your exact DNA – with another person. Maureen and Eileen were identical twins so that sharing everything theme is a true fact for them. Having Eileen die before the book begins gave Maureen the motivation to keep her love from Lucas a secret, because she feels in her heart there is no way she can escape the same outcome as her twin, and she will not hurt Lucas by declaring her love, and then dying, leaving him alone.

No One Else by Allie Winters
-Evan-
I messed up.
I admitted to the girl of my dreams I’m in love with her, only to have her run away. Why don’t they ever warn you things like that happen?
Now that we’re paired up for a class project, I have to figure out a way to keep things from being weird between us. I can’t lose her again.
-Natalie-
We shared a kiss the night after I broke up with my boyfriend of three years. A heart-stopping, panty-melting kiss I still dream about. But I wasn’t ready then for anything more.
Now that I am, he’s unavailable. What will it take to get us both on the same page – and stay there?
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I wanted to write a book where the confession of love starts at the beginning of the novel, and then doesn't go where the character expects. So often in romance novels, the admitting to being in love is positively received, but what do you do when it's not? What happens from there? How do the two main characters now interact? Will they be able to find their way to a happily ever after?
These are all questions I wanted to explore in this second chance take on romance.
Secret Gifts by Satin Russell
Tom wants to move their relationship to the next level, but will Jackie’s past get in the way of their future?
Jackie Davis is no stranger to hardship. After a strict upbringing, her parents abandoned her when she got pregnant out of wedlock. Years later, she’s the co-owner of a successful café, mother to a beautiful six-year-old daughter named Abby, and dating a man who makes her heart race. For the first time in a while, she’s actually excited for the holidays.
When Tom Molsem applied as a cook at the local café, he wasn’t looking for a relationship. Haunted by demons from his military service, he was just happy to have a job he could handle. Now he’s the co-owner of that same restaurant and dating a woman who helped lay those ghosts to rest. With the past buried, he wants to build a future with his newfound family.
Tom and Jackie are eager to celebrate Christmas, but when Abby goes missing, the two must band together and discover the true gifts of the season: love, forgiveness, and new beginnings.
Flames of Love by Erin Wright
As a firefighter, Jaxson Anderson is well acquainted with danger. He’s charged into burning buildings to rescue men and women, young and old. He’s scaled ladders that towered over blistering infernos, and defied blazes that terrified lesser men.
Fire? He understands. Women? Not so much. Now *there’s* some real danger. He should know. He’s been burned before.
He’s not interested in romance, or the perils that come with it. His priority is caring for his two small boys, and making his mark as the new fire chief of Sawyer, but everything changes the day he catches sight of Sugar, the pretty girl who works at the local bakery. Sugar is exactly what he wants: A fun, no-strings distraction. A friends-with-benefits arrangement that won’t break what’s left of his heart.
On the heels of an abusive marriage, Sugar Stonemyer is done with men. But when Jaxson Anderson strolls into the bakery with a very wicked offer, she can’t resist. One look at the fireman, and Sugar knows the Sawyer rumor mills haven’t exaggerated. Jaxson’s tall, dark, and smokin’ hot. He wants an arrangement, nothing more, and that’s perfect.
Or so she thought.
With each slow seduction, Sugar falls a little more. She has only herself to blame. She didn’t want either of them to have feelings, but that’s not how the game is played…
Aubry by CL Rowell
His name is Jonathon Grey.
He’s the son of my father’s worst enemy. We met five and a half years ago on the night of my fifteenth birthday party. He crashed the event and we danced the evening away. It was sooo romantic. When Daddy chased him off he left with my heart.
It was years before I finally saw him again and he treated me like crap, shattering my heart—I hate him…and now he owns me for an entire year.
An enemies to lovers second chance love story that will make you laugh and might even make you cry.
