Oh, I really enjoy coffee.
What inspires you to write?
This is a difficult question. I initially wrote academic (non-fiction) research papers and book reviews. Years later both circumstance and a yearning not to be a linear author that I ventured wholeheartedly into fiction writing. My inspiration likely stems from the characters themselves, writing them as real people and hoping that the good ones have their lives in the beautiful form they deserve.
Tell us about your writing process.
My writing process is not consistent except for the last several books I write freehand. Characters are but empty shells with physical appearances until experience and events detail who they are and whom they are to become at the end of the story.
How do you develop your characters?
Not really. I may know how they physically appear and choose their names, but they unfold as events do; their reactions, habits generally inform what type of person they will be.
Who are your favorite authors?
WEB DuBois, John Steinbeck, Jane Austen
What genres do you write?: Historical Romance, Mystery/Detective, Science Fiction & Fantasy

"You’re the only family these babies have left. Good luck."
Single. Bachelor. Content.
Yerp.
I’m that guy.
Luckily, living solo is seen as socially acceptable on the mountains.
But a phone call in the middle of the night changes everything. And I learn three things.
1. I’ve got a bro behind bars.
2. He’s the father of two little girls. Girls I’ve never met – mind you.
3. And some fool in charge assigned ME as their legal guardian.
They’re joking right???
I can’t be responsible for a kid. Never mind a kid and a baby!
I’m ready to walk into the courthouse and give the judge a piece of my mind…
But the minute I meet my nieces I’m speechless for the first time in my life.
Two beautiful angels. Innocent and scared. They deserve better.
Much better.
Just like that, my mountainous walls slowly begin to crumble.
Maybe that’s why I meet the girl of my dreams.
She’s answering my pathetic questions on an online parenting forum.
And we meet to chat. To be honest I thought she was a guy.
Her name is Alex after all.
She’s actually a smart sexy single mom to two little boys.
THE definition of MILF. And the way she loves her boys blows me away.
Too bad I’m horrible at relationships. Can she ever see herself with a guy like me?
One thing’s for certain…
St. Patty’s Day is around the corner.
And this Irish daddy is ready to use his lucky charm to get his happily ever after.

Pierre LeMercier is also an aristocrat of the king’s court and is fascinated by Penelope’s beauty and intrigued by her feigned lack of interest in him. Penelope and Pierre’s courtship blossoms. Pierre vows, as well as Count Alexandre Montegeau a friend of Penelope and Armand’s parents, to exonerate Armand, restore the House of Moreau’s name. Pierre and Penelope hope to be wed when the matter is settled.
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I was heavily inspired by the culture and setting of 18th century France. Most of my books feature multi-racial lineages or couples, so it was easy for me to incorporate this aspect into the story.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I was inclined to do another historical romance novel. In the beginning, I typically chose European cities not popular in the genre, however, I had visited London, England twice and thought now was the time to choose the historical location as the backdrop to the story.
